# Connect a wallet

> Connect a Solana wallet to MixFun before you deposit or withdraw.

### Connecting your wallet

1. **Click "Connect Wallet".** The button sits in the top-right of every MixFun page.
2. **Choose your wallet.** MixFun supports Phantom. Select it from the wallet dialog.
3. **Approve the connection.** Your wallet pops up and asks to share your public address. MixFun never asks for your seed phrase or private key.
4. **Confirm you're on mainnet.** Check the network label in your wallet. MixFun runs on Solana mainnet. If your wallet is on devnet or testnet, switch before continuing.

### Signing in (optional)

Signing in is only needed for account features: encrypted note storage, cross-device history, and share-link management. You can use Private Send without signing in.

1. **Click your wallet address in the header.** The menu offers "Sign in".
2. **Approve the sign-in message.** MixFun uses Sign-In With Solana (SIWS). The signed message does not authorize any transactions; it only proves you own the wallet.
3. **You're signed in.** Account features are now available.

### Disconnecting

Click your wallet address in the header and choose "Disconnect". Local notes in your browser are kept; the signed session ends.
